Leaders for LibHERty gathered successful women in STEM careers into a panel to share their experience with high school girls. The purpose was to educate young women about STEM careers as a viable option to pursue, despite them being male-dominated. The audience of girls were from around York Region who came with an open mind and left with a sense of motivation. We wanted to connect those interested in STEM careers with role models and possible mentors to take advice and experience from.
